Almaty is the economic capital of Kazakhstan the most stable Central Asian nation. Almaty has seen rapid economic growth and development in the last few years and it would be an ideal base for a person to explore both Kazakhstan and other Central Asian nations.

The teaching position is to teach exam preparation and some private tuition. The ideal applicant will have had teaching experience and preferably be an IELTS examiner. Experience in IELTS or TOEFL exam preparation is expected. The school will provide visas, airfares, accommodation (including utilities), and a starting salary of US$1500 per month. The initial contract period would be for 12 months, although an applicant wishing to work for a shorter term would also be considered. The position is to start in September 2008 and will remain open until filled.
